Please note that the student number is the last two digits of your invoice number. For example, your invoice number is 06302021-3, then your student number in the result announcement would be number 03.

For collection of certificate and comment sheet, we will send you an email individually in the coming days. Thank you for your kind attention.

Application Details

Due to accute Covid in Malaysia, the organising committee has agreed to give an extended time for Malaysia participants to hand in recordings.

All other countries remained September 1 deadline.

We sincerely apologise that result announcement has to be postponed to Thursday 23rd September.

Dear applicants

Please submit your video recordings on or before the deadline, 31st August 2021 (Tuesday).
Please be reminded to submit the video along with a copy of your student ID.

You may submit the files through either of the following options:

1. Email directly to vicky@splendidtour.hk

Or

2. Upload the video to a file sharing platform, for example Google Drive (https://drive.google.com), Dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com) etc., and email the sharing link of the video and a copy of your student ID to vicky@splendidtour.hk

• Application starts from 1st June to 20th July 2021 via filling in the google form below. See link under Application Form.
• Video uploading starts from 1st August to 31st August 2021.
• Award publishing will be on 20th September 2021.

Competition Groupings

Solo

• Kindergarten: age under 6
• Junior: age under 13
• Youth: age under 18
• Open: age 19 or above

Ensemble (3-14 players per group)

• Primary: age under 13
• Secondary: age under 18
• Open: age 19 or above

Registration Fees

Solo

• Kindergarten: HKD380 per head
• Junior: HKD380 per head
• Youth: HKD410 per head
• Open: HKD450 per head

Ensemble

• All Groups: HKD680 per group

Note that once application form is submitted, registration fee is non-refundable if applicants failed to take part in the competition for any reason.

Competition Repertoire

Own Choice Piece

Participants are required to submit their Own Choice Piece to our company through email at admin@splendidtour.hk on or before 1st August, 2021.

Duration of Own Choice Piece

Solo

• Kindergarten: maximum 3 minutes
• Junior: maximum 4 minutes
• Youth: maximum 5 minutes
• Open: maximum 8 minutes

Ensemble

• All Groups: maximum 8 minutes

Video Recording Specifications

• Video uploading starts from 1st August 2021 to 31st August 2021. The link for uploading video recordings will be announced in our website in due course.
• The video must be recorded live and no dubbing is allowed.
• The audio and video should synchronize and should make sure sound quality is clear and smooth.
• Resolution of video is recommended at 720p (1280 x 720).
• Please be sure that the recording environment is quiet and with sufficient lighting. Simple background is recommended with no bright lights from behind.
• The entire video must show clear participant’s face, entire musical instrument (except piano) and posture.
• No zoom in or zoom out is allowed during the entire video recording.
• If accompanist(s) is part of the performance, they should be in view.
• Note that student ID will be required to upload together with the video recordings.

Payment Method

After receiving your google form application, we will send you our bank account information for payment. Kindly send us the bank-in confirmation to our email admin@splendidtour.hk with applicant name, class and instrument specified in the email.
